Distribution Manager - West

We’re seeking a strategic Distribution Manager to build and lead a high-performing network of independent distributors across the Western United States. You’ll shape regional strategy, strengthen distributor capability, and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years’ experience in medical device sales or distribution, including:
- Proven success building and leading 1099 distributor networks
- Experience in wound care biologics and/or spine & orthopaedic markets
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely
- Willingness to travel up to 50% or more of your time across the region
Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing independent distributors
- Deliver training across clinical, reimbursement, product, and compliance areas
- Support contracting and ongoing distributor engagement
- Set targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching
- Track and report on sales, market trends, and key initiatives
- Build strong distributor partnerships and act as the main regional contact
- Collaborate with internal teams to support field execution
- Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities
- Execute strategies to drive adoption and sales performance
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards
- Oversee accurate sales reporting and commission alignment
