We are looking for a Distribution Key Account Manager to join our intermediates team. This role requires the candidate to live in either Central or Eastern Time Zone. The Intermediates Americas division is seeking a Distribution Key Account Manager for the United States to be the leader at the assigned accounts, who will consistently drive and find new business opportunities and strive to support organic growth targets within their assigned product categories.   • Developing a growth strategy for assigned distributors in Chemical Intermediates (CIN), which includes the creation of account specific strategic plans and their execution with measurable results.
  • Managing and steering the specified key accounts with global consultation.
  • Leading / participating in meetings for significant customer problem resolution.
  • Providing forecasts (both short- and long-term) to the relevant CI SBUs.
  • Setting short & long-term growth targets, monitor performance, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Collaborating across functions and various levels to ensure alignment of targets and activities across CIN.
  • Providing market intelligence by bringing information about industries, competitors, and customers back into the organization.
  • Participating in customer segmentation and business rules implementation, be diligent in completing call reports, weekly and monthly reports, as well as reporting of any key intelligence data collected.
  • Hold a Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Possess a strong business acumen and robust sales techniques application experience.
  • Are customer focus and able to work with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Have strong communication skills and a strategic vision.
  • Possess strong influencing skills and curiosity and drive for maximizing margins and business results.
  • Are proficient in computer programs, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Salesforce.
