Requirements

High School Diploma Equivalency/ GED
Performs work under direct supervision.
Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses a working knowledge of the job.
Ability to understand and follow directions.
Physical stamina.
Ability to frequently lift/move heavy objects.
Medium work

Responsibilities

General cleaning, removes debris, and keeps areas in orderly condition.
Performs cleaning duties which require frequent lifting/bending, operating equipment, emptying trash/plastic bins, bailing plastic for recycling, dumping trash/cardboard into the compactors, etc.
Duties may include sorting and separating scrap pallets, sweeping, picking up trash, wiping down warehouse walls, putting away supplies, bringing in pallets, and general cleaning inside and out.
