Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent degree required
  • Minimum three (3) years of senior-level distribution operator work experience
  • Minimum of six (6) months of work experience within a GxP environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Experience with MARC or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Proficiency in all functions of Microsoft Office
  • Requires current forklift certification.
  • Position requires continuous lifting and/or moving lightweight material (5-25 lbs) and frequent lifting or moving average weight material (25-50 lbs)
  • Requires ability and willingness to flexibly work between the operational hours of 6:30am - 5:00pm (EST) four days per week (Monday - Friday), with overtime on weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Requires up to 10% domestic travel

Responsibilities

  • Performs as a change agent capable of influencing without direct authority and can build effective partnering relationships with all business partners.
  • Supports Supervisors in daily job assignments.
  • Supports supervisor in “moving people to the work”. Reassigning operators as daily business needs dictate.
  • Supports Supervisors in the coordination of resources to meet both the base business volume and other work-related activities (training, emergency order fulfillment, etc.)
  • Monitors the related WMS systems to assess daily volume and ensure resources are properly allocated.
  • Identifies operational bottleneck areas and resource constraints and takes a lead role in developing and proposing solutions to management.
  • Develops and maintains a process for resource allocation.
  • Develop, evaluate, implement, and monitor quality management strategies to avoid, exploit, reduce, or transfer issues.
  • Lead investigations of all deviations to process and document findings by Quality Management System.
  • Assists supervisor with resolving procedural inconsistencies and works with SMEs on providing suggestions and/or corrections.
  • Uses strategies to promote team morale and productivity.
  • Take responsibility for identifying and solving issues with management.
  • Assist the Supervisor to coordinate the resolution of non-conformances, including the identification, execution, and/or implementation of rework activities and/or corrective actions.
  • Works in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations including OSHA, GMP, DEA, EPA, TSA, etc. as required.
