Our Americas Distribution Services Division (ADSD) provides governance and administration of Cat® dealers across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. As the Distribution Development Representative , you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the mid to long-term business development strategy with the business partners within the Southern US District.

Requirements

  • Strategic Thinking : Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
  • Relationship Management : Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Responsibilities

  • Leads cross‑functional collaboration with internal business partners and external consultants to gather industry insights, Voice of Customer, and Voice of Business inputs, translating them into actionable opportunities that support business growth.
  • Manages dealer performance metrics, dashboards, and management tools to monitor progress, identify improvement areas, and develop processes that support increased sales and operational excellence.
  • Plans, leads, and executes key projects critical to the success of the department and broader enterprise, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and organizational objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive market assessments by analyzing competitive activity, market dynamics, evolving customer needs, and the organization’s position within the industry to inform strategic planning and business decisions.
