About The Position
We are currently seeking experienced Distribution Designers to join an Engineering firm on a remote basis. You must have experience working with Distribution Design Studio (DDS) on resiliency workloads for AEP and/or CenterPoint.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of distribution design experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with DDS.
- Experience with AEP, CNP, or First Energy for at least 1 year.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in Katapult and IKE.
- Strong skills in Distribution Design Studio.
- Experience as a Design Technician.
- Competence in staking and pole locating.
Responsibilities
- Design and draft power distribution systems.
- Utilize DDS for distribution design and power delivery.
- Engage in utility design and ensure effective power distribution.
- Contribute to the resilience of power delivery systems.
