About The Position

We are seeking Jr-Mid Level Distribution Design Engineers for utility-scale projects focused on distribution in our Tampa office. The candidate will join our Distribution Team supporting various projects such as transformer replacements and retrofits. This is an open-ended contract, and we provide contractors with appropriate benefits.

Requirements

• 2+ years of distribution design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Understanding of the power grid.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electrical and civil design.
• Knowledge of high voltage systems.
• Familiarity with drafting and utility design.
• Experience with GIS and mechanical design.
• Knowledge of power delivery and construction.

Responsibilities

• Support utility-scale distribution projects including transformer replacements and retrofits.
• Utilize proprietary software (Maximo & BOUD) for project execution.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality distribution designs.
• Draft and design using tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
