The purpose of the Cut Table Operator is to be responsible for processing cuts on a cut table. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Operate cut table to maximize output. Inspect carpet for any defect before being tagged, wrapped, and marked for shipment. Operate lift truck. Follow all safety protocols and procedures Performance Expectations (if applicable): Standing and walking approximately 8 hours per shift. Reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, walking, and squatting throughout shift Must be able to distinguish colors and shades. Must be able to use scissors. Experience/Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read and write. Must be able to do basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. Computer or data entry preferred. Other Requirements: Overtime is required on occasion. Perform any other duties as assigned. All accidents must be reported immediately.
