About The Position
As a Distribution Center Team Member at MKS Instruments, you will partner with internal and external customers to provide world class distribution center centric support. In this role, you will report to the Inbound Supervisor. How you Will Make an Impact: Perform the physical or administrative/physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods, and reject unsatisfactory items where necessary. Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment. Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production and customers. Travel Requirements: Up to 10% of Travel may be required.
Requirements
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, and storing activities.
- 2 to 5 years of related experience in a warehouse environment.
- Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills.
- Ability to do shift work when directed.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of high school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent is preferred.
