About The Position

At Utz Quality Foods, we’re more than just a snack company, we’re a family with
a passion for quality, innovation, and people. We’re expanding and hiring
a Distribution Clerk to work from our logistics facility located in Gastonia,
NC. The Distribution Clerk provides administrative support to the Logistics team
while utilizing the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS). In this role,
you will support both inbound and outbound operations through clerical and
administrative tasks, ensuring accurate documentation, inventory control, and
smooth workflow across all warehouse activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with Blue Yonder WMS or similar systems is a plus.
• Requires excellent typing, filing, and organization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks, reprioritize as needed, and work within time constraints.
• Ability to communicate well, both written and verbal.
• Able to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Must have the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
• Must possess intermediate math and reading skills.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process incoming shipment documentation.
• Update inventory records in the Blue Yonder WMS.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of received goods.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation.
• Update order status and inventory records in the Blue Yonder WMS.
• Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
• Ensure all outbound documentation is accurate and complete.
• Maintain organized files and records of all warehouse transactions.
• Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Generate reports related to inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities.
• Support the Warehouse Manager with administrative tasks as needed.
• Other job duties as assigned.
