About The Position

The Claims Coordinator is responsible for providing post order support to resolve disputes submitted by our customer base. This position works closely with the Distribution Supervisor to ensure that the department's goals and quality standards are achieved through continuous improvement and efficiency gains opportunities. This position works closely with the Customer Claims Department on pricing, sales support and transportation and is under direct supervision of the Distribution Supervisor. This role is responsible for investigating and processing credits, debits and rebilling associated with overages/shortages, damages, pricing discrepancies and customer requested returns. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, preferred.
  • 1 year of customer experience, preferred.
  • 1 year of SAP experience. Preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in the continuous handling of meticulous details.
  • Excellent data entry, proofreading, and typing skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience navigating WMS.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates customer reported claims and errors.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to investigate and dispose of carrier claims.
  • Provide claims data for review and assessment to site leadership.
  • Function as Subject Matter Expert for the claims process.
  • Works directly with inventory control to validate inventory accuracy.
  • Provides Root Cause analysis to operational leadership to determine process improvement steps.
  • Creating RMA's
  • Managing Quality notifications.
  • Processing requests for credit, rebill and returns as needed.
  • Monitoring claims daily.
  • Resolution of service complaints to the satisfaction of the customer within established company guidelines.
