As a Distribution Center Warehouse Associate, you will be working at our brand new, state of the art facility in West Salem, WI, on our 2nd shift from 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. Responsible for supporting the efficient and accurate flow of goods through our distribution center. This role involves various tasks related to the handling, sorting, and shipping of products. You will ensure that all products are processed and delivered to customers in a timely manner while adhering to company policies and safety standards. The warehouse team plays an important role in First Supply’s success and has a passion for customer service. We would love to have you join our team today and start building your career! Starting pay is $18 - $24 per hour plus shift differential

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience with handheld RF units preferred
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
  • Ability to perform the physical essential requirements of the job

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Assist with inventory control tasks including counting, restocking, and organizing products to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments, including unloading trucks, inspecting goods, and verifying order accuracy.
  • Inspect products for damage and defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Operate various warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks in accordance with OSHA guidelines and First Supply safe operating procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other related documentation.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production goals and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Keep the warehouse organized and hazard-free by emptying garbage, sweeping, or operating floor scrubbers as required.
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
