We are hiring 1st Shift Warehouse Equipment Operators for our new Distribution Center in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Here’s a quick rundown of the schedule details for the first few weeks of employment: Training Schedule: You’ll start off with an 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule while you complete onboarding and training. This will take place at our Ferguson Beltsville location - 11730 Baltimore Avenue; Beltsville, Md 20705 . Regular Schedule: Upon DC opening (approximately the end of March 2026) you’ll move into your regular hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM at our Upper Marlboro location; 15801 Queens Court; Upper Marlboro, Md 20774 . Benefits Starting Pay Rate! $23.00 per hour Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Disability and Life insurance after 30 days Wellness Incentives 401K plus Company Match, Vacation, Paid Holidays, Sick Time, Personal Time Employee Purchase Program Employee Stock Purchase Program Qualifications Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime hours in addition to regular shift hours Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently without assistance Material handling equipment experience preferred but not required Ability to excel in fast-paced environment Post-offer background check & drug screen are required Responsibilities Accurately and safely pick product quantities or store product in assigned locations Assemble containers and maintain supplies in an organized manner Perform daily transactional tasks using a Labor Management System Effectively communicate with coworkers and display teamwork in completing task assignments Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times Execute tasks using hand-held RF units / scanners or voice units Follow all established standard operating procedures for given task areas Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).
