About The Position

We are seeking a local candidate for this role, and the position is located onsite daily downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Hours: 6:00am-4:00pm Days: Monday-Friday Overtime as needed during the week and on weekends (Sundays) as needed for business needs The Operations Supervisor will manage and leads a team of employees. They will be responsible for communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to team. Other responsibilities include motivating team members and assess performance, manages employees’ hours and handles all verbal/written performance documentation issues. Supports Distribution Manager Training of the lead/back up supervisor Manages inventories and stock, including keeping detailed records of inventory use and sales, and advising management on ordering where necessary Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks Assists management new team member training Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance Communicates deadlines and sales goals to team members Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals Conducts daily team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines Ensures company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards Provides quality customer service, including interacting with other departments, answering enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints Conducts daily and routine 5s Audits of managing area for orderliness and cleanliness Utilize Teams/Office software for tasks and communication Routinely monitors employee performance including giving verbal/written warning notices for underperformance Handles employee 90-day, 6 month and year end evaluations Manages employee hours based on volume APMEX is a multibillion-dollar ecommerce company that is the leader in Precious Metals. Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • 3 years of Team Leadership Experience required
  • Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • SharePoint

Nice To Haves

  • Distribution experience preferred
  • Product Knowledge and Industry Experience preferred but not required
