Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred.
6+ years previous experience, preferably in a distribution center environment.
Excellent leadership ability with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical with the ability to plan staffing levels to work flow.
Strong computer skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as ERP systems, WMS, etc.

Responsibilities

Oversees the packing, loading, and shipping processes to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Monitors workflow to optimize efficiency.
Ensures that the department is compliant with company operations, policies, and procedures.
Monitors inventory levels, conducts regular audits, and coordinates with other departments to ensure accurate inventory counts and availability.
Leads a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards along with meeting productivity requirements.
Ensures orders are packed correctly, shipments are accurately labeled, and products are handled with care to prevent damage during transit.
Enforces safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for employees and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Identifies inefficiencies in outbound processes and recommend improvements to streamline operations.
Maintains accurate records of outbound shipments, tracking performance metrics, and prepares reports for management review.
Maintains open communication with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and resolve any issues.
