About The Position

As a DC Order Selector you will participate in the daily order picking for our Sacramento Distribution Center. DC Order Selector responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Able to sit, stand, bend, twist, and turn body as needed for 8-10 hours per day
Able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
Physically able to operate pallet jacks
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Have reliable transportation to and from work
Good organizational and time management skills
Able to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
Receive and process Distribution Center stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
Report any discrepancies
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Operate and maintain Distribution Center vehicles and equipment
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust, and mop as required.
Organize Distribution Center and work area for orderliness at all times
Follow safety procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times
Other responsibilities as needed
