About The Position

The Distribution Center Manager at National Floors Direct is responsible for overseeing the distribution of materials to installation teams, ensuring efficient operations within the distribution center. This role emphasizes customer satisfaction and effective communication, aiming to enhance the overall customer experience in the flooring industry.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Installation Management experience.
• 2+ years of Logistics experience.
• Direct supervision experience managing a team of at least 10+ internal employees and 10+ delivery personnel required.
• Experience supervising in-house employees and maintaining long-term relationships with outside installation/delivery teams.
• Significant experience in a Customer Service based role; floor-covering or home-improvement experience is a plus!
• Computer literate, with experience in email, word, excel, and CRM software programs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with Floor-covering products and installations is a huge plus but not a requirement!
• Highly self-motivated, organized and dependable.
• Logistical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the distribution of all scheduled materials to installation teams daily.
• Assist in the hiring and supervision of outside floor-covering installation teams.
• Communicate with customers and colleagues to exceed customer expectations and deliver a great customer experience.
