Requirements

  • Minimum 7 to 10 years distribution experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills - must be detail oriented.
  • Prior experience working closely with a sales team.
  • Must be mechanically inclined enough to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
  • Carrier selection and freight tendering experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Prior experience using WMS, TMS, and Microsoft Office software.
  • A calm, level-headed demeanor and positive attitude when dealing with stressful situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree with focus on Supply Chain and/or logistics.
  • Military training and/or experience.
  • Bilingual.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of DC associates in all general Distribution Center (DC) activities.
  • Oversee day to day order processing, inventory control, and transportation decisions.
  • Manage facility operations, expense control, site safety and security.
  • Work closely with both local and national sales teams in a time sensitive, transactional work environment.
  • Train and develop team members in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Drive a forklift and lift up to 70 lbs routinely throughout the day.
