About The Position

SUMMARY: The Distribution Center Inventory Intern will support daily warehouse operations with a primary focus on inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and product validation. This role provides hands-on experience in distribution center processes, inventory systems, and operational best practices. The intern will work closely with leadership to ensure inventory integrity and efficient warehouse functionality. M-F 7am-3:30pm, $20.00/hour Timing & Commitment: This is a Summer 2026 internship running from mid-May through August (approximately 10–12 weeks). The expected start date is flexible between May 15 and June 1, depending on academic schedules. Some flexibility in start and end dates may be accommodated. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform warehouse bin counts in the small parts section to validate inventory accuracy and make corrections as needed Conduct spot checks of bin counts in full pallet storage areas and update discrepancies Utilize inventory management systems (M3 and Factory Track) to update and correct inventory records Assist with cycle counts to maintain the integrity of the ABC cycle counting program Verify proper product labeling and ensure all barcodes are accurate and scannable Research inventory discrepancies and implement corrections in coordination with supervisors Identify damaged or unsellable products and report findings under the direction of the Distribution Center Manager Support additional warehouse and inventory control tasks as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the below essential duties satisfactorily. Attendance is required Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. or within normal business hours as established by the supervisor. Requirements
