About The Position

The Inventory Control Associate at Blain's Farm & Fleet is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels within the distribution center. This role involves performing cycle counts, conducting audits, and ensuring the proper handling of merchandise. Requirements

• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and safely operate various warehouse lifts and motorized equipment.
• Demonstrate basic math skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts of merchandise in the warehouse using a handheld scanner.
• Conduct pallet checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Transfer products from pallet to pallet for scanning purposes.
• Problem solve errors and discrepancies in inventory records.
• Obtain and disperse mail to trucks and shipping docks.
• Operate powered warehouse equipment such as order selectors and forklifts.
• Cross-train to assist in various areas of the distribution center.
• Communicate daily with associates and leaders from all departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
