About The Position

Our 10-week paid Summer Internship Program is designed to attract and develop future leaders. This opportunity is for individuals currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing career opportunities in a retail distribution center. As a Distribution Center Intern at Michaels, you will gain hands-on experience in New Lenox, IL, with core responsibilities, relevant projects, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent Google Suite applications
GPA of 3.0 or above
College juniors and above
Proficient in Excel, W o rd, and PowerPoint
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
A strong communicator, creative thinker, and team player who is eager to learn and grow.
Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a retail environment or distribution center is preferred.
Demonstrate a desire to gain firsthand knowledge of Distribution Center processes and ter minology.
