WAI is excited to announce that we're expanding our team and seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Customer Service Representative to help us continue our commitment to excellence. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification; or two + years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer Skills - Microsoft Office and Outlook, ERP Systems.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of following instructions and responding to management direction.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exhibits experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Has the ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Possesses strong, effective and professional communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to all SCS e-mails.
  • Effectively communicate findings of SOD (Shipping Order Discrepancy) investigations to all relevant departments and the management team.
  • Provide accurate information and support to customers by understanding their requests, answering questions, and offering assistance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to obtain answers for customers.
  • Assist Will-Call Customers and maintain a clear customer pick-up shelf.
  • Review and research customer concerns (SODs) using the Baan ERP system to identify the root cause.
  • Update SODs with approval or denial on a daily basis.
  • Generate and communicate the SOD report to the Outbound Team on a daily basis.
  • Scan and manage bill of ladings (BOLs) on a daily basis.
  • Assist with research and resolution of the Staging and Confirmed not Invoiced report on a daily basis.
  • Complete Delphi and GM ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) tasks.
  • Conduct research and retrieval of Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.
  • Support internal auditing of policies and procedures.
  • Participate in a collaborative work environment utilizing effective communication and willingness to cross train to enhance team productivity, versatility, and skill development.
  • Comply with comprehensive safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to ensure a secure work environment and maintain a safety-conscious culture.
  • Follow all 5S principles and guidelines daily to optimize workflow, efficiency, and a clean work environment.
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management.
