The Distribution Center Associate at Atwood Distributing Inc. plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of the distribution center. This position involves various tasks related to the handling, sorting, and shipping of merchandise, ensuring that all processes adhere to safety standards and operational procedures.

Work with merchandise that doesn't get shipped out as box quantity.
Lift boxes of merchandise to be sorted by items.
Use an RF gun to scan UPCs for store breakout.
Check off paperwork for received items and note discrepancies.
Place material into tote tubs and barcode scan inventory for counting.
Push full tote tubs onto a conveyor and take them off when full for shipping.
Replace totes as needed.
Lead in safety by knowing all procedures outlined in the Atwood's Safety Manual.
Log all discrepancies of merchandise.
Accurately check in shipments and report shortages.
Receive training and practice proper DC safety for lifting and unloading.
Report any unsafe acts or near misses.
Complete daily work lists assigned by the manager.
Show up for work on time in proper uniform and name tag.
Assist in other duties or special projects as required.

Math skills for counting and accuracy
Ability to work outside in variable weather
Extensive standing and walking
Cooperative and willing to work as a team
