About The Position

Palmetto Moon is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Distribution Center Associate to join our second shift team. This position plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving merchandise. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is available to work evenings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse, retail, or logistics experience a plus
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance require
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6 hours per shift)
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, and repetitive motion
• Manual dexterity required for operating equipment and handling product
• Must be able to safely operate pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse tools
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures (hot in summer, cool in winter)
• Active warehouse setting with moderate to loud noise levels
• Exposure to dust, dirt, and occasional use of cleaning materials
• Team-oriented, safety-first environment with physical demands throughout the shift

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment
• Receive and process incoming merchandise
• Restock inventory and maintain organization of product locations
• Operate RF scanners and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks)
• Ensure order accuracy and quality control standards are met
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
