About The Position

Join our team and receive a retention bonus of up to $1,600 in your first year—earn $400 for every full 3 months of work completed!A National Coatings & Supplies Distribution Center Associate performs material handling functions within the Distribution Center. Under indirect supervision, the individual will be responsible for accurately picking, stocking, counting, and adjusting inventory in a timely manner, as needed through the use of hand-held bar code scanners.Forklift certification preferred but not required. Schedule is Monday thru Friday- 7:30am to 4:30pm. $20.11 per hour$21.11 per hour if Forklift Certified

Requirements

• HS Diploma/ GED required
• 0 to 2 years previous work experience is preferred but not required at this level.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to use computer equipment and simple math ability
• Ability to use hand held bar code scanning equipment in a paperless warehouse
• Ability to stand and walk up to 3 hours at a time
• Ability to lift 20lbs regularly and up to 50lbs on occasion
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Picks orders accurately and to a set production standard, as assigned by supervisor
• Properly log, process, and stock inbound merchandise shipments
• Palletizes and labels overstock so that it may be handled properly
• Checks shipments for accuracy and reports the results to the supervisor
• Ensures that all the parts are located
• Tags all orders to ensure that the order goes to the proper location in shipping
• Ensures that all daily housekeeping duties are completed at end of every day
• Cycle counts bin locations as assigned by supervisor
• Restocks consumables and prepares for the next business day
• other duties as assigned
