Job Summary Under general supervision, receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack, stage, and ship general, medical, and surgical supplies in the Distribution Center. Performs receipt of Purchase Orders into the system and provides cross-docking services to the facilities. Provides direction to other Distribution Center Associates. Audits, inspects, and verifies work for quality, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Leads special projects. Oversees staff and performs rounding to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and processes. Prioritizes workload and requests for assigned team. Provides input regarding performance to Supervisor or Manager. Trains other Distribution Center Associates. Processes return of goods back into the system at the Distribution Center. Provides responsive customer support by creating STAT requisitions, correcting order quantities, communicating effectively, and helping customers locate missing orders. Receives Purchase Orders in the system and stages supplies for delivery. Performs put away of receipted product. Replenishes inventory in low unit of measure locations from bulk locations. Picks orders utilizing various technology platforms and packs them in appropriate containers. Stages order in appropriate delivery zones and prepares them for shipping. Operates hand truck, carts, dollies, “man-up” order-picker, and walkie to transport stored items from warehouse locations for shipment. Keeps shelves, pallet areas, and workstations clean and organized; maintains a tidy shipping supply area; and follows all safety procedures, rules, and regulations. Reports inventory discrepancies and documents according to policy. Assists with cycle counts and physical inventories. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain or related field.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced distribution environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Willingness to learn; be coachable.
  • Proficient in typing, computer use, and quickly learning new software applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Automated supply/distribution experience preferred.
