About The Position
The position involves sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. The individual will read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Responsibilities include assembling customer orders from stock, marking materials with identifying information, and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed. The role requires the use of the Company ERP system to enter sales orders and look up inventory items, as well as delivering products to customer locations. The individual will also maintain the warehouse area by ensuring all surfaces are free from debris at all times and will communicate with customers regarding equipment inquiries and material availability. This position requires on-site presence and acceptable attendance to perform the essential duties.
