The primary purpose of this role is to assist the asset protection manager in performing his/her functions. This involves performing AP and Safety-related activities to support The Home Depot's business objectives, such as minimizing shrink, risk, and safety incidents. Key tasks include providing onboarding to AP programs, ensuring OSHA standards and investigations, training, coaching, responding to potentially volatile situations, and conducting investigations. The role is also responsible for data integrity and tracking various performance metrics across AP duties. The ideal candidate will have experience in asset protection, safety, merchandise auditing compliance, hazmat, OSHA standards, and investigations to help maintain a safe work culture by supporting the asset protection manager and facility leadership team in improving shrink, safety, expenses, and liability.
