Distribution Associate for 1st Excellent Total Compensation Package Wages start at $22.82 and after 6 months $23.63 Monday through Friday (with overtime following the normal end time as business needs direct) 5:30am – 2:00pm for 1st shift 9:00am – 5:30pm for 2nd shift All offers of employment are contingent on successfully passing a background screen, physical and drug test

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent or 4 years related experience
  • Desired to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment.
  • Ability to frequently lift, push and slide packages typically weighing up to 40 lbs.; team lifting required at 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work full-time and over-time as needed.
  • Basic math aptitude
  • Ability to read, write, hear and speak in English.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Dependable and flexible

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience in warehousing, material handling, shipping / receiving and forklift experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently to check-in, put away, pick, pack and ship orders.
  • Equipment / Tools used includes: handheld RF scanner, flat beds, carts, and manual pallet jacks, hand and powered banders, computer terminals, manifest systems, stretch wrap and shrink-wrap machines
  • Certification program for powered industrial trucks is available for qualified associates.
