Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control and distribution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, with a strong focus on process optimization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage high-stress situations, and remain adaptable as needed.
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong independent work ethic and efficient time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to clearly articulate job goals and complete them effectively.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds as relevant to job duties.
  • Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Available to work on occasional Saturdays.
  • Fertilizer, dust, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, plant pathogens, volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and pack orders for distribution.
  • Oversee quality assurance in order picking.
  • Process order returns and manage wasted products.
  • Collaborate with Managers to meet supply needs, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • Handle shipping and receiving tasks: inspect shipments for accuracy and completeness, and receive/unpack items as needed.
  • Provide information on stock items, including location, quantities, and inventory movement upon request.
  • Perform inventory management duties such as recording, counting, and stocking items, including full and cycle counts.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and systems to log all non-production-related inventory transactions.
  • Work directly with the Manager to maintain a well-organized and efficient facility.
  • Assist with and actively participate in internal and external inventory and packaged goods audits.
  • Fulfill all tasks related to packaging finished stock and preparing orders for delivery, ensuring compliance with established regulations and labeling requirements.
  • Adhere to all state-specific rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate respectfully with team members and foster a team-oriented environment.
