The DC Associate is responsible for processing orders through various areas, including those that require the use of powered material handling equipment in a manner that meets company standards for safety, quality, productivity and accuracy. Requirements

  • Must be able to qualify for and maintain forklift license; valid state issued driver’s license and successful completion of eye exam required.
  • At least 6 months prior experience in distribution/ warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse systems (PkMS).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills with strong attention to detail including speed and accuracy in counting and verification.
  • Highly motivated team player, willing to accept additional responsibilities and strive for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Interact with and work well with others in various fast changing environments/situations.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time, and carry out multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • HS Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
  • Forklift driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain safe work environment by being aware of surroundings; following standards and procedures; complying with operating policies and regulations.
  • Manage accounts, shipping and tracking all items (inbound and outbound) for CS.
  • Batch and drop orders for repair center.
  • Create all labels.
  • Use Salesforce to complete consumer samples.
  • Assist with quality issues and inspection.
  • Assist with all Grainger labels and orders.
  • Maintain list of all mix pack items on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain all return and quality racks.
  • Perform daily audits.
  • Pack box of items and stack boxes on pallets properly.
  • Secure and move finished pallets; move empty pallets.
  • Wear all required safety PPE and operate all work duties in a safe manner following proper procedures.
  • Take individual responsibility in keeping work area organized and clean.
  • Maintain quality and production standards.
