Requirements

  • Good Attitude
  • Excellent Driving Record: with some experience as a delivery driver. You must possess or be able to qualify for a DOT Medical Card
  • Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; strongly prefer at least 1 year of related warehouse, material handler, distribution, and forklift operations experience.
  • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge and experience.
  • Location: You must live within a reasonable distance from Power Tech. This job is NOT remote and requires you to enter the center every workday.
  • Physical Ability: You must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform functions such as crouching, kneeling, and balancing.

Responsibilities

  • Checks all material received via Motor Freight Carriers, UPS / FedEx or customer returns.
  • Pulls orders for shipment from warehouse using forklift equipment
  • Stages and prepares orders for shipment while ensuring the items are packaged neatly.
  • Completes all shipping paperwork promptly monitoring closely for any errors or quality discrepancies.
  • Loads & Secures orders onto Eastern vehicles.
  • Operates forklift and pallet jacks in a safe manner.
  • Accurately receive products and place in inventory.
  • Measure product dimensions and check pipe tolerance to customer specifications
  • Load and secure deliveries on Eastern vehicles for safe transport.
  • Deliver orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers.
  • Maintain real-time communication with supervisors via phone & GPS.
  • Inspect and ensure proper working condition of delivery trucks.
  • Safely drive our delivery trucks that include 26ft flatbeds
