The Distribution Associate at Catalent Pharma Solutions in San Diego plays a crucial role in supporting the pharmaceutical industry by managing the distribution of clinical trial materials. Responsibilities
- Use JD Edwards/MEP ERP software to pick, pack, and verify shipments in various conditions.
- Perform final verification at pack out and label orders appropriately.
- Pick and stage materials for packaging, conduct cycle counts, and perform location checks.
- Manage inventory for production staging and distribution, including receiving materials and entering data into inventory systems.
- Provide inventory-related support for other departments and perform inventory transfers using controlled forms.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as electric forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Restock shipping and warehouse supplies and maintain general housekeeping of the warehouse area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is required.
- 2+ years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is highly preferred.
- Previous certification using Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment is preferred.
- Experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Proactive with superior time management and organizational skills.
