About the position

The Distribution Associate I at Velcro USA Inc. is responsible for coordinating and performing tasks related to the shipping and receiving of materials within the Distribution Department. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and maintaining a safe and orderly work environment. The associate will operate various equipment and may be cross-trained in different functions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate stock picker and TSP (turret stock picker).
• Use handheld RF (WMS) for receiving and picking products.
• Retrieve products from QC hold.
• Complete travelers and receive products using handheld devices.
• Become certified in Clamp truck and Sit-down fork truck operation.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and assist with additional tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs unassisted.
• Effective time management skills.
• Attention to detail and effective verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and excellent attendance.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of OSHA safety rules.
• Fork truck experience and/or certification.
