About The Position

The Distribution Associate is a member of the Distribution Team, which is part of the Logistics department. The functions of a Distribution Associate are completing and coordinating the day-to-day operational functions of packing, shipping, and distribution of goods and supplies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, or GED equivalent, preferred.
• Distribution and warehouse experience, preferred.
• Electric Forklift experience, preferred.
• Experience with RF devices, preferred.
• Ability to calculate basic math.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders according to procedure.
• Package all shipments to protect product using appropriate packaging materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse.
• Report any problems to Distribution management.
• Comply with company policies.
• Follow department SOP’s.
• Use RF devices to pick, pack, and ship products to customers.
• Ability to certify and drive material handling equipment in warehouse areas.
• Ability to conform to all associated regulatory requirements, FDA & DEA, as well as state and local regulations associated with the transportation of materials.
• Participates in cycle counts as required.
• Must be able to read documents in Standard English such as Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance schedules, and operating manual.
