This position is part of the Distribution Center, located in Romeoville, IL and will be on site. This role may require occasional weekend work and potential overtime, based on business needs.

Requirements

  • 1+ years prior direct people leader experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain operations
  • Working knowledge of Lean, Daily Management, or continuous improvement practices
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Experience with warehouse or manufacturing systems (WMS, Oracle, ADP, or similar) (preferred)
  • Experience with Kaizen, Standard Work, or formal Lean systems (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily operational results aligned to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity (SQDIP) targets.
  • Lead daily shift communications to align teams on priorities, risks, and execution plans.
  • Manage staffing and labor allocation to meet workload demands while promoting cross‑training and flexibility.
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping, labor charging, and attendance documentation in accordance with company standards.
  • Track, communicate, and respond to performance results using visual management and standard metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement through Daily Management, Gemba walks, Standard Work audits, and Kaizen participation.
  • Identify performance gaps, lead root cause analysis, and execute data‑driven improvement actions.
  • Maintain Leader Standard Work to ensure consistent execution of leadership routines.
  • Lead, coach, and develop hourly associates through regular feedback, 1:1s, and performance accountability.
  • Support performance management, development planning, and corrective action in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to resolve operational issues and improve end‑to-end execution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
