About The Position

Mayzo is seeking a Distribution and Production Specialist (Production Machine Operator) to join our production team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery for processing, production, and distribution. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, minimizing downtime, and ensuring smooth production flow.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required, technical training a plus
3-5 years of experience operating industrial or manufacturing equipment preferred
Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn and operate specialized machinery
Forklift experience
Ability to read and follow written instructions, production orders, and safety guidelines
Basic math and measurement skills
Comfortable working in a production environment with noise, dust, and variable temperatures
Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork

Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and adjust machinery to meet daily production goals.
Set up equipment based on job specifications and production schedules.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and report malfunctions.
Perform quality control checks on finished products for weight, density, and consistency.
Document production data and equipment readings accurately.
Clean equipment and work areas according to safety and sanitation protocols.
Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues and collaborate with maintenance personnel.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Assist in warehouse operations, as needed.
