About The Position

The Distribution Account Manager will serve as the primary point of sales contact and business development for named Distribution partners, focusing on the North America Solar/Electrical distribution channel. This role involves close collaboration with Sales management, marketing, customer service, logistics, IT, and finance to ensure a superior customer experience. The manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets per account, managing all distribution programs, promotional initiatives, and all aspects of account management. Key duties include production/demand forecasting, order management, internal and external partner training, gathering market intelligence, and driving product improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5-10 years of sales, or supply chain management, preferably with experience managing wholesale distribution partners or OEMs in the solar industry
  • Proven successful experience working with an independent dealer network, Wholesale distribution, and wholesale electrical distributors.
  • Strong computer skills, including expertise in MSOffice, Excel, and Salesforce.com
  • Flexible can-do attitude and the ability to work in a dynamic, fluid environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communications skills; team player attitude
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritize time well to deliver consistently against stated objectives

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with construction contractors or Electricians a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day communications with Partner
  • Weekly/Monthly reviews of forecast and order backlog with Partners
  • Gather and manage partner TAM and share data forecasts to ensure coverage and share capture goals are achieved
  • Manage corporate communication with customers regarding pricing, new products, marketing programs, etc.
  • Help to set, message, and then deploy Enphase sales strategy
  • Coordinate marketing/promo/ Share gain campaigns with the Marketing Manager and National Sales Director
  • Drive Customer/ partners issue resolution in cooperation with the Services Manager and Supply Chain team
  • Liaise with PLM to solicit partner feedback for product improvements
  • Be a conduit for market intelligence from installer partners
  • Intermittent national travel (up to 30%) to partners, regional shows, and events may be required.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer communication in CRM
