About The Position

This position reports to the Desktop Operations Manager within the Bureau of Service Operations and is responsible for providing systems administration, as well as 1st and 2nd tier support within the Desktop Operations team, which provides installation, implementing, maintaining, and supporting distributed computer systems and peripherals, including hardware, software, and communications components. This team supports the department’s desktops / laptops and related peripherals.

A Level 2 background check, along with Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) clearance, to include a fingerprint-based check of the criminal records of the FBI, as a condition of employment pursuant to Chapter 110.1127, 435 and 943, Florida Statutes.
This position is subject to on-call and call-back to work, seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day, as needed, in the event of an outage or emergency, and is eligible for overtime pay.
Selected candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience using Microsoft Systems Center/SCCM

Experience using enterprise desktop deployment solutions
IT service desk/help desk experience including MS Office support.
Experience supporting Windows 10 or higher.
