Role summary: The Distinguished Technical Program Manager, AI Enablement is a visionary leader, strategist, and AI Evangelist responsible for shaping Walmart’s enterprise-wide AI transformation. Operating at global scale, this role defines the long-term AI enablement strategy and partners across business, product, and engineering to integrate intelligence into every facet of associate and customer experience. The AI Enablement Lead is a hybrid leader and builder who operates at the intersection of technology, strategy, and innovation . This role goes beyond traditional program management — blending the disciplines of technical design, product strategy, and hands-on prototyping to drive AI transformation. About the team: The team harnesses AI, platforms, and data to create secure, compliant, and user-focused solutions supporting Walmart’s Corporate Affairs. Key initiatives include automating ESG disclosure, sustainability, and philanthropy impact reporting, while enhancing global newsroom operations and stakeholder engagement tools. By applying advanced data science and AI responsibly, the team boosts operational efficiency, accuracy, and reach. Collaboration and leadership foster continuous innovation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.   • Drive Walmart’s enterprise AI enablement strategy and lead CA Tech’s evolution toward the Squiggly super-agent vision, ensuring unified associate experiences, systems, and workflows.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to prototype, validate, and scale high-impact AI solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Identify transformative opportunities and accelerate AI adoption through experimentation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as both strategist and practitioner : helping the business understand the art of the possible with AI.
  • Act as a technical generalist and thought partner, wearing multiple hats as needed — vibe coder, technical designer, program leader, and product thinker
  • A track record of leading AI-driven transformation at scale with exceptional strategic, technical, and leadership depth.
  • Strong expertise in AI/ML concepts, platform modernization, and program delivery across complex ecosystems.
  • Hands-on experience using AI agents, and vibe coding to build prototypes to support solution ideation.
  • Ability to anticipate future customer, associate, and market needs, connecting technology innovation to business outcomes.
  • Proven capacity to influence enterprise strategy, inspire teams through change, and foster belonging across global organizations.
  • A bold, future-forward mindset—equally comfortable shaping long-term AI vision, and driving near-term results through experimentation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 7 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
  • Option 2: 9 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
  • Certification in Project Management.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area and 5 years’ experience in product design.
