About The Position
The AI & Experiences Org at Zillow is seeking a Distinguished Scientist to drive innovation in computer vision and deep learning technologies that enhance user experiences in the real estate market. This role is pivotal in formulating science-driven initiatives that align with Zillow's mission to transform how people discover, experience, and purchase homes. The team is composed of applied scientists, engineers, and designers who are dedicated to developing advanced spatial understanding algorithms and deep learning models that create immersive media experiences for buyers and renters. As a Distinguished Scientist, you will be at the forefront of creating new business opportunities fueled by scientific research, improving the efficiency of technical and research efforts, and fostering an environment where scientists and engineers can thrive both within Zillow and the broader research community. In this role, you will be encouraged to challenge existing assumptions and expectations, leveraging current technologies while also innovating new solutions that can process large volumes of data, including imagery and metadata. Your contributions will help build exciting and immersive experiences that enhance the home shopping journey for customers. This position is categorized as remote, allowing you to work from any location within the United States, with the requirement to identify your physical work location to the company. The compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary, equity awards, and is reflective of your experience, performance, and location.
