Role summary: As a Distinguished Risk Expert, you will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive cyber risk management strategies to safeguard organizational assets. This role requires expertise in evaluating security threats, conducting vulnerability assessments, and guiding governance frameworks to enhance resilience. You will collaborate across functions to align security policies with evolving risks and emerging threats, ensuring robust protection and compliance. Requirements

  • Extensive expertise in cyber risk assessment, management techniques, and evolving security threats.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate security policies, frameworks, and governance protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, including VPNs, routers, switches, and encryption standards.
  • Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
  • Skilled in threat intelligence analysis, synthesizing multi-source data to anticipate cyber threat scenarios.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to align security strategies with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated capability to develop and maintain organizational security posture in dynamic environments.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 6years’ experience in cybersecurity risk or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
  • Option 2: 8 years’ experience in cybersecurity risk or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Security+, GISF, GSEC, CISA, CISSP, CCSP, or CISM
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related area and 4 years’ experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and plan secure connectivity services, ensuring alignment with organizational security requirements and standards.
  • Design, implement, and test network security solutions including authentication, intrusion prevention, and detection systems.
  • Conduct comprehensive cyber risk assessments and develop strategies to manage identified threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Lead security testing activities, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, to maintain organizational readiness.
  • Analyze threat intelligence to identify emerging cyber threats and advise on mitigation strategies.
  • Establish and update corporate risk and security policies, frameworks, and governance protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures and promote continuous improvement in security posture.
