The Distance Learning Specialist will assist the Distance Learning Coordinator with the day-to-day operations of classroom Lecture Capture and address any additional distance learning needs for the Cockrell School of Engineering.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and five years’ professional experience in the field of radio, television or film program productions (OR) Bachelor's degree and a year of professional experience in the field of radio, television or film program productions
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree and at least two years of professional experience in the field of radio, television or film program productions
- Experience in AV Integration, Broadcasting, Education K-12/Higher ED, Instructional Design, and Higher ED Administration
Responsibilities
- Schedules, programs, installs, and maintains lecture capture hardware and software, as well as delivers archived lectures to instructors and students.
- Provides support to the Distance Learning Coordinator in evaluating new learning technologies for effectiveness and compliance with University of Texas policies.
- Assists in the design and deployment of distance learning technologies across the Cockrell School of Engineering campus.
- Performs other related functions as assigned.
