As part of a collaborative initiative with the Public Defender’s Office, the Community Violence Intervention (CVI) Case Manager is responsible for providing intensive case management, support, and advocacy to individuals who are at risk of involvement in violence or who have been affected by community violence in the neighborhoods of Holden Heights, Parramore, Carver Shores, Rosemont, Mercy Drive, Lake Mann, and Signal Hill. This role focuses on building trusting relationships, reducing barriers to services, and connecting participants to resources that promote safety, stability, and long-term success. The Case Manager will work directly with an assigned Public Defender from the 9th Circuit Public Defender’s Office, as well as Advance Peace Orlando, to collaborate with local outreach teams, law enforcement partners (when appropriate), community agencies, and families to reduce violence and strengthen community well-being.
