The Displayperson - Trade Show Rental ( also referred to as, Service ) with our team in Northbrook is responsible for producing, prepping, and packaging trade show rental exhibits and components for shipment on behalf of the client. The Displayperson - Service comes with unique challenges and set of responsibilities within the Trade Show and Experiential Marketing industry. Requirements

  • High School diploma and 1 to 3 years related industry experience required.
  • Some experience with metal cutting / drilling, panel saw operation, and carpentry required.
  • Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Requires occasional overtime & weekend hours.
  • Positive, dependable attitude & strong desire to learn & grow.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for prepping and receiving exhibit properties.
  • Perform all pull and prep services on assigned client base, as needed.
  • Perform repair / refurbish work on assigned client base.
  • Work from layouts or drawings with dimensions and instructions.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge in the use & set-up of power machinery & hand tools.
  • Conduct crate inspections for set-up prior to show and upon return.
  • Package all parts, hardware and graphics for shipments.
  • Ensure that all appropriate parts are being shipped to show.
  • As directed and based on scope of project, responsible for providing direction to Helpers when assigned to project.
  • Travel to show site providing supervision of installation & dismantling of exhibits/displays, as needed.
  • Interact with clients on show site in a businesslike manner.
  • Operate forklift & other material handling equipment safely.
  • Ability to work independently and complete project within budgeted hours with minimal direction.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
