The Displayperson - Trade Show Rental ( also referred to as, Service ) with our team in Northbrook is responsible for producing, prepping, and packaging trade show rental exhibits and components for shipment on behalf of the client. The Displayperson - Service comes with unique challenges and set of responsibilities within the Trade Show and Experiential Marketing industry. Requirements

High School diploma and 1 to 3 years related industry experience required.
Some experience with metal cutting / drilling, panel saw operation, and carpentry required.
Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Requires occasional overtime & weekend hours.
Positive, dependable attitude & strong desire to learn & grow.

Responsibilities

Responsible for prepping and receiving exhibit properties.
Perform all pull and prep services on assigned client base, as needed.
Perform repair / refurbish work on assigned client base.
Work from layouts or drawings with dimensions and instructions.
Utilize advanced knowledge in the use & set-up of power machinery & hand tools.
Conduct crate inspections for set-up prior to show and upon return.
Package all parts, hardware and graphics for shipments.
Ensure that all appropriate parts are being shipped to show.
As directed and based on scope of project, responsible for providing direction to Helpers when assigned to project.
Travel to show site providing supervision of installation & dismantling of exhibits/displays, as needed.
Interact with clients on show site in a businesslike manner.
Operate forklift & other material handling equipment safely.
Ability to work independently and complete project within budgeted hours with minimal direction.
