Display Electrical Engineer
About The Position
The Display Hardware team is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of next generation displays in Mac products. You will be working in a collaborative environment where creativity and innovation are supported and expected. Join us and be part of fast moving and exciting team that creates and integrates the next generation of display technologies into Apple's products.- Participate in core architecture definition and investigation while working closely with Apple cross-functional partners. Lead design of PCB and electrical characterization/validation from prototype through mass production Analyze u0026 give feedback on mechanical and thermal constraints impacting EE design Run simulations to meet various requirements such as Display, Touch, and Graphics Participate in cross-functional design reviews as a stakeholder in the overall system design Provide technical support and debug factory production issues. Communicate and present technology updates and project status to executives and cross-functional teams. Manage project milestones and issues through product development builds Perform failure analysis on electrical, mechanical, and optical issues
Requirements
- MSEE or PhD preferred.
- Consumer electronics and high-volume production experience.
- Ability to communicate and present technology updates and project status to executives and functional teams.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge on modern display technologies, such as LCD, TFT, OLED, LED etc, is a plus.
