About The Position

Under the supervision of the Dispensing Operations Pharmacist, the position is responsible for the dispensing of oral oncology medications for the patients of the Company. Responsibilities include accurately counting and filling oral oncology medications, ordering/stocking of medications and supplies, and packing/shipping of medications. The role requires a working knowledge of all facets of the position, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Additional duties and projects may be assigned, and all tasks must be performed in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) required (FL).
• Five years’ experience in specialty, retail, or hospital pharmacy as a pharmacy technician preferred.
• Critical thinking skills including problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and conflict management abilities.
• Good command of the English language; second language is an asset.
• Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
• Strong customer focus and ability to build engaging culture.
