As a dispensing pharmacist you will provide outstanding service to patients with complex, specialty diseases to help them achieve improved clinical outcomes.

Requirements

ACPE - accredited PharmD degree (highly preferred) or BS of Pharmacy with recent pharmacist work experience
Active applicable state pharmacist license in good standing
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

MS Pharmacy and/or Board certification
Advanced practice pharmacist
1+ years of recent pharmacist experience (hospital setting preferred)

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional standards
Providing in-person counseling on usage, side effects, and interactions
Build trust with patients to support adherence and safety
Lead daily pharmacy operations and delegate tasks
Process insurance claims, manage rejections and ensure timely reimbursements
Maintain full compliance with federal, state and local pharmacy regulations, including audit preparedness
Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, place orders, and conduct regular audits. Handle expired or recalled products in accordance with policy
