This position involves providing comprehensive Member service, including identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving issues. The role also entails maintaining merchandise presentation by stocking, cleaning, organizing displays, and managing damaged goods and pricing. Responsibilities extend to maintaining the Sales Floor in the Optical area, handling claims and returns, and organizing merchandise according to company procedures. The associate will receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, and complete necessary paperwork. Operating hardware like cash registers, processing purchases, and assisting with payments, returns, and exchanges are also key functions. A significant part of the role is selling Optical products and services, which includes assisting Members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses, completing eyewear/contact lens orders, verifying prescription information, and collecting payments for doctor services, as well as performing optometric pretests.
