About The Position
As a Dispensing Operator on the 2nd shift at Granules Pharmaceuticals, you will play a crucial role in the staging and dispensing of raw materials within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all operations are conducted in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This position requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established protocols to maintain the integrity of the manufacturing process. In this role, you will be tasked with setting up the dispensing room according to SOPs and specifications outlined in the Batch Manufacturing Record. You will document all setup and cleaning activities in the logbook and other relevant paperwork. Dispensing approved raw materials and packaging materials from the warehouse will be a key responsibility, requiring you to check the information against the Batch Manufacturing Record to ensure accuracy. You will also be responsible for issuing materials, recording issuance information, and enforcing the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle for material withdrawal. Additionally, you will need to check the expiry and retest dates of all materials before dispensing, clean the dispensing room post-operation, and ensure that raw materials and packaging are stored correctly in the warehouse. Maintaining orderliness and cleanliness in the warehouse is essential, as is performing daily calibration of equipment. You will also be expected to follow all company policies, safety procedures, and cGMP guidelines while performing other assigned duties as necessary. A significant aspect of this role involves maintaining the SAP Material Management inventory, which includes daily issuing and receiving of raw materials. A full understanding of the SAP process flow from material receipt to finished product shipping is required, along with proficiency in using SAP T codes relevant to material management.
